In my last post I explained how my Higher State Soil Shaker 2 trainers had failed after only 200ish miles.
I contacted the retailer who requested I sent them back to be assessed.
Yesterday, I was sent out a brand new pair, identical to the pair I received in January.
I’ll be putting this new pair to the test – by which I mean I’ll wear them as normal on my trail runs – and hopefully these will be a bit more resilient than the first pair.
I’m hopeful that the original pair were just a dud pair. But this gives me an ideal opportunity to confirm whether this was the case or if this is a systematic issue with these trail shoes.
