31 seconds

If last week’s half-marathon at Macclesfield left me feeling I was way off pace, today’s race in Congleton was very much on-pace. A chipped time of 1h34m50s being only 31 seconds off my personal best set at Wilmslow earlier this year (PB 1h34m19s). Admittedly today’s conditions probably couldn’t have been better (a definite change compared to the other 2012 races I’ve entered) but it’s buoyed me on for Tatton Park next month that I might be able to go faster still, assuming I do some serious training before then.

A successful end to the weekend, that’s for sure!
