no race no problem

Well this weekend marked the first time I worked full hours since Mark passed away in June – the 4th monthly anniversary was last Thursday and to be honest, it went by with very little trauma. Last night I looked at some photos and whilst that brought back some happy memories, a sharp blow of sadness came with it too.

After work today I went for a training run, I knew last night it was something I needed to do, to get out and get the endorphins working their magic. The run was hard work – I suspect due to the unhealthy pie thing I bought on special offer for lunch, repeating on me for about 8 miles – but 12.65 miles got me full circle to/from work. Here’s the link to the route.

Right, time to tidy up and then to bed.
