After the total breakdown of yesterday, today was very much the calm after the storm. Not a lot achieved, but then nothing like the collateral of yesterday, so I’ll take that as a positive.

Building work held up with the inspector arriving in the afternoon in the morning and then the weather, which had been nice all morning, went very wrong indeed. So they gave up and went home. After which the sun came out for a pleasant evening…….!
