I’ve always had a tolerate / hate feeling to the worlds biggest social networking site, but today I decided it was time to leave it for the last time and deleted my account.

Today has been a horrible day in Greater Manchester. Of those contacts on FB who were aware, posts very sombre as one might expect. The rest of the world was, as usual, bleating on about irrelevances which really paled into insignificance, which to be honest has always been a gripe of mine as the fall-out from the site often seems to far outweigh any positives.

I could have stood up, told the world that it just wasn’t right. But I’ve long since concluded that there wasn’t a lot of point. So they can stay there, and fuss about the pointless aspects of life without me now.

I just wish it wasn’t such a horrible day to happen in the first place.
