loaves and open houses

I think today was recovery day for the half-marathon yesterday. Here’s me at 4 miles before I ran out of oompf.

Feeling rather sleepy to say the least. Still I managed finally to bake the bread; the delay resulting in a very late lunch which was very nice when it did arrive.

Builders started making big holes in the roof today. Having seen tomorrow’s forecast I’m not sure this is a good thing, but there’s plenty of plastic up there now….

And I went to my first Macclesfield Monday practice in maybe 5 years. Only to discover they do very clever stuff. My brain has forgotten all of that and this summer has taken it’s toll on my learning/retaining method information. Some work required.

And I might just run another race next weekend, although should try to pace it better this time!
